You can record your trips.
For each trip you can record your receipts. You walked in a restaurant, ate your meal, at the end of it just record this receipt with the details like the currency used, amount spent, date, and the type of expense. You click a photo of the receipt and store it on your phone.

At the end of the trip, you can send yourself an email with the trip summary as well as a PDF document containing all the receipts that you will need to file for your expense report.

With this tool you no longer need to spend hours in figuring out each receipt. This will take at least one pain away from your travels - you no longer need to remember the details about each receipt. You will record things as they happen, and you will get a nicely formatted PDF and trip summary.
